World Coins - Curacao - 1816-1821 - Countermarked Cut 3 Reaal
1816-1821 AD. Formed from 1/5 deckle-edged cut of 8 reales of Ferdinand VII. Obv: lower part of original obverse with 1818 date below bust. Rev: lower part of original reverse with partial ]ET IND[ legend; countermarked with long 3 in circle. KM# 28.1. 5.14 grams. .
Coin fine; countermark near extremely fine. Rare; especially with date for host coin showing.
