1526-1539 AD. Second coinage, type III. Obv: profile bust with open mantle and IACOBVS DEI GRA REX SCOTORV legend. Rev: long cross over arms dividing OPPIDV EDINBVRGI legend for Edinburgh mint. S. 5378. 2.65 grams. . Acquired M Vosper (with ticket); ex Dr William Triest collection.
