Ancient Byzantine Coins - Focas - Angel Solidus
602-610 AD. Constantinople mint. Obv: O N FOCAS PERP AVG legend with draped and cuirassed bust facing wearing crown with pendilia holding globus cruciger. Rev: VICTORIA AVGG Z legend with angel standing facing holding Chi-Rho long staff and globus cruciger; CONOB in exergue. BMC 5; Sear 616. 4.41 grams. .
Nears as struck; slightly flat at edge.
