Ancient Roman Imperial Coins - Philip I - Thrace - Hades-Serapis Medallion
244-249 AD. Bizya mint. Obv: ?V? ? ? ??V? ???????? ?V? legend with laureate and cuirassed bust right, seen from front, aegis over left shoulder. Rev: ???V above Hades-Serapis enthroned facing, holding sceptre in left hand and extending right hand over Kerberos; to right Isis standing left, holding sistrum and cornucopia with Harpokrates to right holding cornucopia; to left Demeter standing facing, holding long torch with Kynoskephalos to left; ???? in exergue.
