Ancient Roman Imperial Coins - Faustina II - Empress with Dancing Girls Sestertius
176 AD or later. Rome mint. Obv: DIVA FAVSTINA PIA legend with draped bust right. Rev: AETERNITAS legend with Faustina seated left holding sceptre flanked by two dancing girls, veils billowing out behind heads; S - C to fields. RIC 1697; BMC 1568; Sear 5224. 23.27 grams. . Very fine; some tooling to hair. Scarce.
