Chinese Han Lidded Jar
Han Dynasty, 206 BC-220 AD. A substantial tubular ceramic jar with domed upper face, circumferential ribbed bands, broad domed lid, three small feet each formed as the foreparts of an ox. 2.8 kg, 32cm (12 1/2"). Property of a North London gentleman; acquired on the UK art market before 2000.
Fine condition, cracked.
