Tibetan Gilt Chakra Samvara Figure
20th century AD. A gilt-bronze figure of Chakra Samvara seated cross-legged on a lotus-flower base with his partner facing holding symbols behind his head, the god crowned and with pendant earrings. Cf. Storm, R. Myths and Legends of India, Egypt, China and Japans, Wigston, 2011 p.154. 1.6 grams, 20.2cm height (8"). From a private UK collection, acquired on the London art market 1990-2000.
