Tibetan Gilt Buddha Figure
20th century AD. A hollow-formed bronze figure of Buddha sitting cross-legged on a lotus flower base, holding a sword aloft in the right hand, left hand in the mudra for awareness, bloom to the left upper arm, floral crown and detailing to the body. 1.35 kg, 21.5cm (8 1/2"). Property of a North London gentleman; acquired on the UK art market before 2000.
