Description
Roman Glass Bead Necklace
3rd-4th century AD and later. A restrung necklace graduated mixed glass and stone beads with some iridescent glass beads; large central feature bead with white eye-decoration and white trails, Islamic workmanship; modern clasp. 52 grams, 41cm (16"). From a private Belgian collection; previously part of a private collection formed in Germany in the 1990s. [No Reserve]
