Roman Silver Ring with Gryphon
1st-2nd century AD. A round-section silver hoop supporting an elliptical bezel with intaglio motif of an advancing winged gryphon. 3.56 grams, 23.14mm overall, 18.73mm internal diameter (approximate size British S, USA 9, Europe 20.00, Japan 19) (1"). Property of a private collector; acquired before 1975.
