Christian Icon of Cosmos and Damianos
Late 18th-early 19th century AD. A rectangular wooden icon with recess to the obverse, painted border framing a gilt field with two facing robed and nimbate figures each holding a small casket with discs within; legend '?? ?????? / Koc ???? / Mac ???c' (the saints Kosmas Damianos); signed at the lower right Dia xeiros A.
