Roman Life-size Horse Statue Leg Fragment
2nd century AD. A fragment of life-size bronze equine statuary with fetlock detailing, punched rectangular locating socket; mounted on a custom-made stand. 1.2 kg total, 28cm including stand (11"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired London art market, 1970-1980.
