Description

Celtic Britain. Britannia, the Trinovantes & Catuvellauni AV Stater. Cunobelin, circa AD 20-43. Grain ear with central stalk and tendrils at base; CA-M[V] and pellet flanking / Horse rearing to right; branch above, CVNO below on exergual line. ABC 2798; Van Arsdell 2027-1; SCBC 288. 5.36gr, 18mm, 12h Very Fine. Lustrous metal.

Found whilst searching with a metal detector in Kessingland, Lowestoft, Essex, UK, in 2002, by Paul Sheedy.
