Devensian Period, 110,000-12,000 years B.P.. Fragment of the pelvis with socket; drilled and provided with a rod for mounting. 1.78 kg, 27 cm (10 5/8 in.).
From the North Sea bed. Ex Gemini Trading, UK. From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000. From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent. Accompanied by an old identification tag. [No Reserve]
