Description

A complex specimen displaying botryoidal smithsonite coated with mamillary rosasite with a sprinkling of azurite crystals, collection number 494; with an old Gregory, Bottley & Lloyd label. 193 grams, 99 mm (4 in.).

Acquired on the UK mineral and fossil market, since 1970. From the historic mineral collection of Richard Valentine Cain, London, UK, thence by descent. Accompanied by an original historic index file card. [No Reserve]
