Middle Period, 900-300 B.C.. Red-on-buff chalice with flared rim, globular body and wide pedestal base; surface decorated with horizontal bands of curvilinear geometric patterns and vertical strokes to the shoulder. 871 grams, 17 cm (6 3/4 in.).

From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000. From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent. [No Reserve]
