Description

Circa 6th-4th century B.C.. Squat-bodied with carination to the shoulder and everted rim, central flat discoid base. Cf. similar phiale (offering bowl) lacking the detailed stampwork in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, under accession number 1989.11.7. 142 grams, 13.7 cm (5 3/8 in.).
