Early Bronze Age, 2300-2000 B.C.. Comprising a hollow basal ring and four vertical posts terminating in conical cups joined at the rim. Cf. similar in the Metropolitan Museum of Art under accession no.74.51.687. 1.36 kg, 17 cm wide (6 5/8 in.).

From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000. From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent. [No Reserve]
