Description

4th century A.D.. With squat bulbous body, dimple base, flared trumpet neck; applied trails to the shoulder, applied strap handles to the shoulders. Cf. Whitehouse, D., Roman Glass in the Corning Museum of Glass, vol.1, New York, 1997, item 690, for type. 47 grams, 72 mm (2 7/8 in.).
