Description
1st millennium B.C. Columnar figure with tall headdress and applied facial features; robe with floor-length sleeves (one partly absent); mounted on a custom-made display stand. 387 grams total, 23.5 cm including stand (9 1/4 in.).
From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000. From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent.
