Description
1st millennium B.C. A round-section rod coiled and partly flattened to form a hair ornament. See Taylor, J.T., Bronze Age Goldwork of the British Isles, Cambridge, 1980, for discussion. 7.45 grams, 15 mm (5/8 in.).
Ex property of a late Japanese collector, 1970-2000s.
