12th-15th century A.D. Lug handle with broad plate and scalloped edge developing to a single stem with scale texture and serpent finial. 63 grams, 70 mm (2 3/4 in.).
Ex German art market, 2000s. Acquired from an EU collector living in London. From the collection of Surrey, UK, gentleman.
