African Wooden Statue of Tribal Elder
Late 19th-early 20th century A.D.. Modelled in the round as a male noble elder, wearing a garment with hatched detailing around his lower torso, with stylised facial features and scarification detailing to the hair and skin. 649 grams, 28.5 cm (11 1/4 in.).
