Description

Medieval Stained Glass with Head of a Bearded Man
Northern France, Troyes, circa 1500 A.D.. With exceptionally detailed facial features, beard and hooded cape with black cap; mounted in lead cames with suspension loop; probably to be identified as Caiaphas from the story of Christ's arrest in the garden of Gethsemane. 139 grams, 15 cm (5 1/8 in.).
