Medieval English 'Three Lions' Floor Tile
England, 15th century A.D.. Square glazed floor tile with yellow motif of lions passant on a heater shield. Cf. Eames, E., Medieval Craftsmen: English Tilers, London, 1992, item 80, for type. 938 grams, 13.5 x 13.5 cm (5 3/8 x 5 3/8 in.).
