Stone Age Knapped Flint Tool Group
Mesolithic to Neolithic Period, circa 8th-2nd millennium B.C. Group of gouges and handaxes including a 'livre de beurre' core. Cf. MacGregor, A. (ed.), Antiquities from Europe and the Near East in the Collection of Lord MacAlpine of West Green, Oxford, 1987, item 5.33. 668 grams, 10.8 - 18 cm (4 1/4 - 7 in.).
