Western Asiatic Cylinder Seal with Combat Scene
1st millennium B.C. With intaglio frieze depicting a helmetted hero with wings on his back standing between and gripping two rearing winged monsters with quadruped body and a human head, to the rear a frond and an altar with miniature figurine; supplied with a museum-quality impression. 2.68 grams, 17 mm (5/8 in.).

Acquired in the 1970s.Property of a London lady, part of her family's collection.
