Western Asiatic Bronze Figure of an Antelope
1st millennium B.C. Modelled in the round with head erect and horns swept back,tail curled to the rump; attachment pegs below the hooves. 64 grams, 67 mm (2 5/8 in.).
From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000.From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent.
