Eocene Period, circa 40 million years B.P. Comprising four fossil leaves, including Fagus sp. and birch. 101 grams total, 54-79 mm (2 1/8 - 3 1/8 in.).
From Tranquille Shale Formation, McAbee Fossil Beds, Cache Creek, British Columbia, Canada. From an old Bristol, UK, palaeontological collection.
