Description

Natural History - Historic Mixed Mineral Collection
Comprising: four native copper specimens; bornite specimens with mainly brown and blue iridescence; azurite; coprite on matrix; a section of petrified wood; a drilled calcite core; a yellow calcite specimen and a polished agate egg with a stand. 1.24 kg total, 3.4-11 cm (1 3/8 - 4 1/4 in.).

Collected in person in 1966. From the private mineral collection of Stephen Atkinson, Harpenden, UK. Accompanied by a copy of a letter from the vendor giving details of him collecting these minerals throughout his life.
