Description
Roman Style Coral Gem with Facing Bust
19th-20th century A.D. Oval-shaped with a three-quarter bust of a noble lady wearing a fillet on her forehead, the hair combed back and arranged in tight curls on the sides. 0.62 grams, 12 mm (1/2 in.).
Acquired before 1990s/early 2000s. From the family collection of Jack Lyttle (1944-2023), Kilmacolm, Scotland; thence by descent to his granddaughter. Property of an East Sussex, UK, gentleman.
