Medieval 'Thames' Bronze Zoomorphic Spur Terminal
Circa 14th-15th century A.D. Fragment of a rowel spur comprising the arched arms, lateral wings and median body; pierced to accept a rowel. 48.9 grams, 67 mm (2 5/8 in.).
Found on the Thames foreshore, London, UK, circa mid 1980s. Property of an Essex collector.
