Description

Greek Attic Terracotta Lamp
Circa 6th-5th century B.C. Squat terracotta bowl with large discus and broad nozzle, lateral lug handle. Cf. similar in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, under accession number 74.51.2146. 55 grams, 69 mm (2 3/4 in.).

Ex P. A., Hertfordshire, UK, specialist collection of Greek art, 1980-1990s. Accompanied by an original catalogue entry slip from a dealership.
