Description
Late Medieval Gold Ring with Orb and Scrolls
Circa 16th century A.D. Discoid domed bezel with central socket, scroll and foliage motifs. Cf. Chadour, A.B., Rings. The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994, item 617. 10.01 grams, 19.73 mm overall, 16.14 mm internal diameter (approximate size British I 1/2, USA 4 1/2, Europe 8.07, Japan 7) (3/4 in.).
From a family collection since the 1990s, thence by descent 2017.
