Massive Stone Age British Bifacial Lanceolate Flint Handaxe
Lower Palaeolithic Period, circa 400,000-200,000 B.P. Long blade with small portion of cortex at the upper end, sharply tapering point with edges worked from both sides. 735 grams, 19 cm (7 1/2 in.).

Found field walking near Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK. Ex English private collection. From the collection of a South West London, UK, collector.
