Description

Engraved Bronze Piriform Flask
18th century A.D. Composed of a trumpet-style neck and mouth and slightly splayed pedestal foot, arcading to the underside of the mouth, hammered geometric panels around the circumference with engraved geometric fill. 709 grams, 19 cm (7 1/2 in.).

Acquired on the UK art market, 2000s. Property of a Suffolk gentleman.
