Viking Age Bronze Pendant with Cross
9th-12th century A.D. With four voids forming the cross-potent motif to the centre, pierced lug suspension. Cf. Sedov, B.B., Finno-Ugri i Balti v Epokhi Srednevekovija, Moscow, 1987, pl.LVIII (19). 2.2 grams, 26 mm (1 in.).
Acquired 1970s. From the private collection of a Northern Ireland gentleman. Ex private Merseyside, UK, collection. [No Reserve]
