Parthian Faience Offering Bowl
Circa 3rd-1st century B.C. Formed as two stylised quadrupeds standing side-by-side, carrying a shallow offering dish on their backs; decorated in a blue glaze. 648 grams, 13 cm high (5 1/8 in.).
Collected from 1979-1999. From the collection of the late Mr S.M., London, UK. [No Reserve]
