Circa 2nd-3rd century A.D. Displaying the bald pate and bearded face of a Roman intellectual in profile right. Cf. Read, B., Metal Artefacts of Antiquity vol.1, Langport, 2001, fig.3 (13), for a similar mount. 3.33 grams, 25 mm (1 in.).
