Egyptian Steatite Scarab with Hieroglyphs
Late Period, 664-332 B.C. With carved details, underside with ropework border and incuse hieroglyphs. Cf. Andrews, C., Amulets of Ancient Egypt, London, 1994, pl.44, for type. 7.95 grams, 27 mm (1 in.).
