Natural History - Large Ludwigia Fossil Ammonite
Middle Jurassic Period, 200-145 million years B.P. Polished through the shell to reveal the dividing gas chambers of Ludwigia murchisonae. 1.27 kg, 18 cm (7 in.). From Horn Park, Beaminster, Dorset, UK. Acquired 1950s-1960s. From an old Bristol, UK, palaeontological collection.[No Reserve]
