Tudor 'Thames' Bone and Ash Precious Metal Crucible Group
Circa 16th century A.D. Of varying sizes and bowl depths, used for testing the quality of gold and silver. 96 grams total, 23-34 mm (7/8 - 1 3/8 in.). Found Thames foreshore spoil, 1980s.[5, No Reserve]
