Medieval Bronze Knight's Heraldic Horse Harness Pendant with Royal Lion
14th-15th century A.D. Quatrefoil-type with low-relief leaf detailing, pellets between the leaves with red enamel fill, central rectangular panel with red enamel fill and reserved lion passant; integral suspension lug. Cf. Ashley, S., Medieval Armorial Horse Furniture in Norfolk, East Anglian Archaeology 101, Dereham, 2002, item 205, for type.12.4 grams, 38 mm (1 1/2 in.). Found Farnborough, Kent, UK, circa 1987.[No Reserve]
