Medieval 'Clare Family' Bronze Heraldic Horse Saddle Mount
13th-14th century A.D. Comprising a heater shield with three enamelled chevrons, three brackets each with a pierced lobe finial; blazoned 'or three chevrons gules', arms of the Clare family.
