Viking Age Bronze Shield Mount
9th-11th century A.D. Raised conical boss to centre, four radiating trefoil-shaped pierced mounting lugs. 12.5 grams, 40 mm (1 1/2 in.). Acquired in the 1970s. Ex property of a UK gentleman.[No Reserve]For this specific lot, 5% import VAT is applicable on the hammer price
