Description
Viking Age Stamped Silver Bar Group
Circa 10th century A.D. One rectangular in section and punch-decorated with tessellating pellets-in-triangles; one tapering with carinated side edges, displaying a single column of punch-decorated pellets-in-triangles. 24.7 grams total, 34-59 mm (1 3/8 - 2 3/8 in.). Acquired on the London art market, 1990s.[2]
