Western Asiatic Gold Leech Earring
1st millennium B.C. Composed of a hollow-formed c-shaped body with six rows of conical bosses and four filigree ropework bands. Cf. The Metropolitan Museum, New York, accession number 1984.175.43a,b., for similar.5.03 grams, 30 mm (1 1/8 in.). Part of a collection acquired around 1900; and thence by decent 1940s.[No Reserve]For this specific lot, 5% import VAT is applicable on the hammer price
