Syro-Hittite Terracotta Statuette of a Deity
Circa 2nd millennium B.C. Modelled with a tapering rectangular body, head with pinched features facing forwards, hands raised to chest with palms placed flat against the chest, shown wearing a neck ornament and with an elaborate hair style arranged at the back of the head; mounted on a custom-made display stand. 182 grams total, 14.5cm including stand (5 3/4 in.). Ex North Yorkshire collection from the 1990s.[No Reserve]
