Roman Silver Bull Collection
1st-4th century A.D. Each free-standing and modelled in the round standing facing, displaying stylised anatomical detailing; one pierced for suspension. 60 grams total, 23-31 mm (7/8 - 1 1/4 in.). ‘The Ancient Menagerie Collection’ formerly the property of a Cambridgeshire lady, collected since the 1990s and acquired from auctions and dealers throughout Europe and the USA, now ex London collection.[5]
