Sultanate Red Sandstone Frieze Fragment
North India, probably Delhi, circa 1220-1225 A.D. Displaying a reserved high-relief Qur'an inscription fragment 6 (OL436), from Surah 3 (Al 'Imran), vs. 18 (OL425) (Frieze 2 Section q). 20.5 kg, 40 cm (15 3/4 in.).
